The winner was owned by Mrs John Magnier, Derrick Smith and Michael Tabor, bred by Barronstown Stud, trained by Aidan O'Brien and ridden by P B Beggy. The winner won by 6 lengths in 2 minutes 31.50 seconds, with 2 1/2 lengths between second and third.
